About the Art

This schematic features the neural pathways involved in the vestibulo-ocular reflex (VOR) in which feedback from the inner ear helps coordinate movement of the eyes. Emphasis is placed on the types of neurons, excitation v.s. inhibition of neurons, and communication to other parts of the brainstem and cerebellum.
